About This Role:
We are seeking a Senior DTC Creative Strategist for a fast-growing 8-figure eCommerce consumer brand to own performance creative strategy end-to-end and turn customer insights, Meta data, and market research into native, high-converting direct-response concepts that can scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own Meta creative strategy across native, organic, UGC-style direct-response ads , including new personas, hooks, angles, offers, scripts, briefs, and concepts.

• Use customer research, reviews, surveys, competitor insights, comments, and campaign data to identify overlooked opportunities and inform the next round of creative.

• Build and manage a high-volume testing roadmap across new concepts, iterations, formats, messaging, and winning-ad variations.

• Analyze CTR, hook rate, hold rate, CPA, CVR, ROAS, spend, and other Meta performance signals to understand why creative wins or loses and determine what to test next.

• Write polished direct-response copy and guide UGC creators, designers, editors, media buyers, and external partners through briefing, production, revisions, and final approval.

• Review creative closely for messaging, logic, execution quality, and attention to detail while maintaining strong production standards.

• Stay current on DTC trends, competitor creative, customer behavior, and emerging formats, and use Claude and other AI tools to improve research, ideation, scripting, analysis, and workflow efficiency.

• Improve creative systems, reporting, templates, testing processes, and production workflows as the brand scales.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of directly relevant experience with US, Canadian, UK, or Australian DTC eCommerce brands in creative strategy, direct-response copywriting, or performance marketing, including at least 1 year of recent in-house DTC/eCommerce experience .

• Proven experience developing native, UGC-style, organic-feeling Meta ads and translating customer insights into hooks, personas, scripts, offers, briefs, and testing hypotheses.

• Demonstrated experience supporting or owning creative associated with approximately $500K–$1M+ in total paid-social spend , with portfolio or case studies showing measurable impact on spend, CPA, ROAS, CVR, CTR, or related metrics.

• Strong direct-response copywriting skills with excellent written English , clean grammar, strong messaging logic, and high attention to detail.

• Strong Meta Ads Manager knowledge with the ability to connect creative performance data directly to the next creative decision.

• Advanced proficiency with Claude and other AI tools , with a proactive approach to improving creative quality, research depth, and workflow efficiency.

• Comfortable working directly with founders, senior leaders, media buyers, creators, designers, and editors while owning creative quality and execution.

Preferred Background:

• Experience working for a scaled DTC brand generating approximately $20M+ in annual revenue and/or within a high-volume Meta environment with hundreds of active ads or creative variations.

• Experience uncovering new personas, use cases, customer insights, or messaging opportunities that led to measurable growth.

• Experience scaling winning concepts through multiple iterations while maintaining performance.

• Experience building or improving creative testing systems, reporting frameworks, and production processes.

Shift Schedule :

• Monday to Friday with regular overlap during US business hours for creative reviews, campaign planning, meetings, and team collaboration.

• Exact working hours and required overlap will be agreed upon directly between the contractor and client.
