In this role, you'll partner closely with designers and project managers to build and maintain WordPress-based websites that move the needle for our clients. You'll bring both the craft and the judgment to make the right call on performance, security, and code quality, and you'll do it in an environment that's constantly pushing what's possible with technology.Key Responsibilities:Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites including custom themes and pluginsTranslate visual designs into functional, responsive, cross-browser experiences using HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, and PHPIntegrate external APIs into new and existing websitesTest and debug websites to ensure performance, security, and accessibility standards are metImplement SEO best practices at the technical level to support organic performanceUtilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your departmentRole Requirements:3+ years of web development experience with a strong focus on WordPress (custom theme and plugin development)Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, and PHPSolid grasp of responsive design, web standards, and accessibilityHands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub ActionsFamiliarity with server administration and hosting environmentsExperience with healthcare websites or HIPAA encryption standardsis a plusFamiliarity with Webflow, Drupal, React, Angular, Twig, or Nodeis a plusEmploy AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processesUtilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your departmentOther applicable or related duties as assigned.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Sprint Completion Rate ? 90%QA required changes completed in under 24hrsMost Important Things (MITs)Maintain documentation of changesFollow secure coding practices.Participate in standup and code reviewsComplete assigned items during sprintPower Digital's people and culture are at the core of our success, which is why diversity in our team's backgrounds and experiences are paramount.
