Applicants from all areas of mechanical engineering are encouraged to apply, including but not limited to solid mechanics, control and robotics systems, artificial intelligence, and thermal-fluids. Preference will be given to candidates with a specialization in machine design. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a broad range of mechanical engineering courses, as well as develop new courses and establish a strong, externally funded research program in their area(s) of expertise.
