About the Department of ArchitectureCal Poly Pomona department of architecture is highly collegial and collaborative with extremely focused and motivated students. The department offers a Bachelor of Architecture, a Master of Architecture, and a Master of Interior Architecture.The Master of Interior Architecture is an online professional degree (M. INT. ARCH.) accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA). The primary goal for the Master of Interior Architecture program is to provide an opportunity for individuals, with a minimum of a bachelor's degree, to pursue a rigorous program of full-time or part-time study that prepares them to enter the field of interior design, incorporating the highest standards of professional practice. The knowledge and skill sets imparted to students will enable them to stand out in the workplace and to take on leadership roles in an increasingly competitive industry.The PositionThe temporary faculty pool is continuously open, and positions are filled as needed, based on student enrollment and funding. Candidates may need to be available to begin teaching on short notice. The Fall term begins in late August and ends in mid-December; the Spring term begins mid-January and ends in mid-May. Opportunities for teaching during the Summer Sessions may also be available. Assignments may include day, evening, and/or weekend courses.
