Accounting & Finance Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounting & Finance Analyst to join our Cuenca Team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, maintaining compliance with applicable local legislation, and delivering the corresponding corporate financial reports.

The successful candidate will work closely with local leadership and international stakeholders, supporting financial reporting, statutory compliance, cash management, and business operations. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, sound professional judgment, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic consulting environment.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

• Manage accounting, payroll, and tax activities.

• Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and cash flow reports.

• Support financial planning and reporting for local and international stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, labor, and corporate regulations.

• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and controls.

We Are Looking for Someone Who Has:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum 6 years of experience in accounting, finance, tax compliance, and payroll administration.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and Ecuadorian tax regulations.

• Experience with SRI, IESS, SUT, and Superintendence of Companies platforms.

• Advanced Excel and ERP/accounting systems experience (BST, Oracle, or similar).

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Advanced English proficiency (mandatory).
