Project Overview

In this role, you will be a key driver in building and scaling high-traffic, customer-facing web applications. You will join a fast-paced, collaborative engineering team dedicated to delivering seamless digital experiences and robust content platforms. The project involves architecting resilient back-end microservices while developing modern, responsive front-end interfaces. As a Full Stack Engineer (React & Java), you will work independently and cross-functionally to bridge user-centric design with high-performance engineering, creating scalable web products that drive user engagement and business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development: Design, build, and maintain feature-rich, customer-facing web applications from conception to production deployment.
• Front-End Engineering: Develop responsive, accessible, and highly performant user interfaces utilizing React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Back-End Architecture: Architect, build, and maintain scalable microservices and robust RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• System Optimization: Ensure web applications are optimized for maximum speed, scalability, and reliable performance under high-traffic conditions.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with product managers, designers, and marketing teams to translate product requirements and SEO strategies into technical solutions.
• Independent Execution: Take ownership of complex technical challenges, applying outstanding problem-solving skills within a fast-paced development lifecycle.

Must-Have Skills

• Full-Stack Engineering: Proven track record of working independently in full-stack web application development. ( 5 + YEARS OF EXPERIENCE)
• Front-End Focus: Strong front-end engineering expertise utilizing React alongside TypeScript or modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Back-End Capabilities: Hands-on experience developing back-end microservices and APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) using Java and Spring Boot.
• Problem-Solving: Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a high degree of autonomy.
• Fluent English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for daily technical collaboration and cross-functional alignment.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Product Domain Experience: Prior experience building and maintaining high-traffic, customer-facing web applications.
• SEO & Content Tools: Familiarity with SEO (Search Engine Optimization), content management platforms, or marketing-related web products.
• Development Methodologies: Hands-on experience working in fast-paced Agile engineering environments.

Time Zone & Collaboration

This role is 100% remote from LATAM and requires consistent overlap with teams in Central Time (CT). Flexibility is expected to accommodate key ceremonies, stand-ups, and collaborative sessions within standard Austin business hours.
